As a general rule, the quality of some of the amateur video is usually quite poor. In fact, some are so bad that at times you would think you were watching World War One archival footage. Some of the characteristics of these low quality videos are poor lighting, one fixed camera angle and a general lack of editing. At the other end of the spectrum, some high quality professional videos have also been made such as Bob May's "Robot Memories."
