Lost in Space Wrench
This futuristic-looking, high tech wrench was a prop featured prominently in
two episodes from two different seasons! First featured in the first episode
of the series, "The Reluctant Stowaway" and used by Prof. John Robinson
during his famous spacewalk to try and repair the J2 from recent damage from a
meteor storm. Then again featured, in color, in the second season episode,
"Prisoners of Space" when Will is questioned by the Space Tribunal,
and the wrench materializes in his hand as he is questioned. It has also
been used on "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" and possibly other
Irwin Allen shows.
This prop measures about 9". It is lightweight metal, hollow, has an orange/red
painted stripe on the top, and a hidden drawer which slides open.
