As orginally seen on the Sci-Fi Channel in late 1995, this MUST-HAVE
tribute to Producer/Director Irwin Allen contains more than 90 minutes
of rare collectible footage and classic scenes from dozens of TV shows
and feature films.
Hosted by Bill Mumy and June Lockhart - and featuring the Lost
in Space Robot and "Special Guest Star" Jonathan Harris - this
special video contains NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN OUT-TAKES, BLOOPERS,
AND CLIPS from some of the most far-out science fiction of all
time! Included are backstage reminiscences by such stars as
Barbara Eden, Robert Wagner, Roddy McDowall, James Darren,
Lee Meriwether, Red Buttons, Gary Conway, Dick Tufeld and many
more!
The videotape is completely authorized by the Irwin Allen Estate
with the cooperation of 20th Century Fox. Fans of Lost in Space
are especially rewarded with 7 minutes of additional Lost in Space
footage not shown on the original SCI-FI Channel Broadcast. Another
exciting feature is the recreated Lost in Space Jupiter 2 set
faithfully designed by Tom Targownik and produced by Ron Hamill.
As the Lost in Space segment unfolds, the viewer is treated to
"behind the scenes" by a variety of guests including Mark Goddard,
Marta Kristen, Angela Cartwright, Jonathan Harris,Paul Zastupnevich
(costume designer), Shimon Wincelberg (writer), Harry Harris (director),
Sheila Matthews (guest actor and widow of Irwin Allen) and Al Lewis (guest star).
